From the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, the pro-Ukrainian media has been given the green light to say anything as long as it showed Russia and its leadership in a bad light.
Now seven months into the special operation in Ukraine we can look back and see the misinformation or disinformation that pro-Ukrainian media in the West portrayed as truths or facts.
In the early days, we saw the rise of the ghost of Kiev, a fictitious Ukrainian pilot that was heralded in all western media as the saviour of Kiev. We were fed daily doses of how his heroic flying skills consistently shot down Russian aviators. This narrative continued with no facts, and no evidence of his so-called heroic deeds, instead we were told to just trust what they said.
This fictitious character made up to push the positive Ukrainian narrative went on until late April when Ukrainian officials had to admit that there was no such person. The episode which dominated western media has even cultivated its own Wikipedia page dedicated solely to the ghost of Kiev.
Another piece of misinformation designed to rally support for Ukraine was the fictitious story of the soldiers on snake island. The story put out by pro-Ukrainian media told of a group of Ukrainian soldiers who stood their ground against the Russian Navy till all of them were dead. The Ukrainian president in a worldwide televised event even awarded posthumous medals to some of these soldiers.
In reality, these soldiers surrendered to the Russian Navy and we were safely placed in detention until a prisoner exchange could be arranged.
Probably one of the most absurd claims by the pro-Ukrainian media was the alleged poisoning of delegates during early negotiations in Belarus. These claims quickly evaporated when no evidence could be obtained and when the Russian billionaire Abramovitch who was working as a mediator with the Ukrainians on a peace deal showed up fit and healthy.
The list of false misleading information from pro-Ukrainian media continues. Not one of the stories that have been proven to be false and misleading has been retracted and social media has not removed any of them from their sites even though it is a clear violation of their policies.
We see the actions or inactions of social media giants to remove false and misleading stories from pro-Ukrainian accounts have now fueled pro-Ukrainian social media junkies to misinform, mislead or blatantly lie without any repercussions and has spawned a new breed of ignorant, uneducated, attention-seeking faceless trolls who seek to be part of the mass formation on the pro-Ukrainian juggernaut steaming to self-destruction, as it replaces facts with fiction.
A perfect example of this was a person who claimed that Jamal Khashoggi was murdered in the Russian Embassy in Turkey, whereas in fact Khashoggi who was a resident of the US and worked for a US paper was assassinated inside the Saudi Embassy in Turkey (NOT RUSSIAN.)
When questioned and shown proof of the truth they just ignore and change the subject of throw insults which shows their disregard for social protocol.
Another person stated that President Putin had not left Russia as he was too frightened to leave as he was not welcome anywhere.
When it was pointed out that only 10 days earlier President Putin was attending the SCO summit in Uzbekistan, they promptly ignored the facts in favour of the US narrative.
This new breed of faceless attention seekers has learnt from Pro Ukrainian Main Stream Media and Social Media giants that as long as they follow the US and its narrative they are free from any reprisals and are protected by the US Corporate giants that allow anything to be said as long as the US agrees.
The West is in danger of creating a generation of non-logical citizens who lie and deceive at any cost as long as they feel that they are part of the collective.
The Mass Formation of the West continues.
